I was raised to be a leader and not a follow.

I remember having long drives home with my Dad after football practice and he would run scenarios by me and ask what I would you do.

For example, he would say things like, ” if a bunch of your friends are asking you to do drugs and they start calling you soft or a puck… What are you going to do?”

Are you going to be a follower and do it or a leader and not do it?

Annoyed because I would get these questions all the time, I would say “A leader Dad”

Now as an adult I remember those conversations and smile when many of them have actually happened to me in my life.

As important as that was, one of the things that I remember the most is him telling me if you want to be the best in business, mirror what the best person is doing. Don’t be afraid to ask for advice and if you work hard you can have anything.

That advice has never failed me, and it won’t fail you.

I’m not saying if a millionaire tells you to jump off a bridge to do it. But if a millionaire has words of wisdom that they are willing to share with you, it’s important to humble yourself and listen.

The key to success is to not just study what millionaires and top producers do, the key is to study the process in which they take.

Most people focus on the outcome, the money and the end results. This is because most people want those results without being willing to do what it takes to get them.

If you do things without knowing why you are doing it because you saw a millionaire or top producer do it you do not fully understand their process to making money.  You will also not respect the time, energy and their pure genius behind what is that most top producers and GURUS do.

This is the reason most people quit doing things, because when they do it and they don’t get results they associate the action that they took as not working instead of saying this is part of the process.

When you know the process and you have seen it work, you are pulled to your end results and not pushed to it like so many others who fail.

This is why parents who push their kids to far fail. Parents that know how to make the end result pull their kid wins.

If you mirror success and strive to understand the process and the path that you are trying to take, you will be pulled to your end goal!
