One of my best marketing strategies that very few people use is direct mail. In this post I’m going to reveal to you 2 ways and resources that you can use to get offline traffic and convert that traffic into leads.

Direct mail is my favorite offline marketing method. I don’t know about you, but I love getting things in the mail. The best thing about direct mail is the fact that less people send it out because they view direct mail as expensive.

But in reality it’s not. Especially if you combine offline with online and direct the people you send the mail piece to, to a lead capture page and capture the data.

Let’s say you spent 40 cents on a direct mail piece. In reality that is roughly the cost of what you would pay for most paid advertising. The only difference is the end user now has something in their hands, their perception of you is one of authority because you sent them something, and you can regulate who actually get’s the mailer.

Whereas with Pay Per Click marketing you really have less over who clicks it even if you are targeting a specific keyword.

So below I have listed 2 ways and resources that you can use to combine offline marketing with online.

1. Target Job Seekers: With the number of people out of work, this strategy is simple. Find a person who is looking for a job mail them a letter to invite them to an event where they will learn how to make money leveraging the power of the internet. Make sure you drive them to a capture page to capture their information.
2. Door Hanger Marketing: If you opened up your door at your home right now and you had a door hanger on it with a message saying… “4 Steps To Making Money From Your Home Computer” Would you see what it was all about? This is a great way to combine offline traffic and bring it online.

These are just 2 strategies that you can use today to start generating leads. If you start to merge offline with online marketing your business will grow and you will always have a unique marketing method that very few people even know exist.
