Having an online business is not easy.

One of my good friends Ray Higdon once said that a lot of entrepreneurs run to the internet out of weakness. It’s as if they are fearful of actually connecting with people on a one on one basis.

So I wanted to give you a few tips to help you if you are looking to start an online business but more importantly I wanted to share with you some of the things that I would do if I had to start all over again with my online business!

Tip #1: The Internet Is A Tool And Not A Get Rich Quick Device:

A lot of people get excited when they start learning how to use the internet because they start to feel as if they are going to make money fast because of the Internets power. If you want to be successful in anything it takes work and patience and you must be willing to put in the work to master it.

My advice is to pick 1 strategy that you like and do it better than anyone else. If you become a master of that one thing you can easily teach it to others. This will help you attract leaders and customers to your business faster.

Tip #2: Find A GREAT Mentor And Pay Them To Coach You:

I believe paying to have a great mentor is almost like having a business insurance policy. I always think it’s funny that people pay money to learn every other profession but when it comes to a home business or online business a lot of people feel they don’t need to pay for help and information. If you are going to be a successful entrepreneur you are either spending money or you are spending your time which is also money.

When you have a great mentor you can shorten your learning curve and save your self-valuable time while positioning yourself to acquire more value. To be honest only a fool would skip this step especially if you want to be a 7 figure earner in your online business.

Tip #3: Be More Excited About 12 Months From Now Than Today:

This may be the most difficult for a new online business owner to understand, but if you implement this tip you will be successful in your much faster. When people ask me what is my secret, my response if the question is always that is the wrong question.  I say you should be asking me what is my process. Everyday I implement the exact same process that often begins with me writing a blog post like you are reading right now. I have several other processes that I implement everyday and because of my consistency, I get results.

The thing that gets me out of bed every morning at 5am is the fact that I know the future outcome is going to be greater than any short lived excitement that today can bring me. I know than most people will not do something if they don’t see results immediately and that drives me. I know people will quit when things get tough and that drives me.  I know that the average person will not be willing to learn the things I learn daily and perfect it, and that drives me.  These same things must drive you.

I don’t believe in luck, but I also know based off of pure numbers that because of my consistency and daily process I am giving myself the best chance to win and allowing luck to land on me!
